DMRC Regatta

The Des Moines Rowing Club holds an annual rowing competition called "The Head of the Des Moines Regatta", or HOTDM for short.  Click on the following link to get all the latest info!

HOTDM Regatta web site!

Novices are welcomed to this competition and DMRC encourages all novices to plan on rowing in the regatta, which is held at the end of September.

As novice training winds down, your cox/trainer should be informing you of your rowing options.  One decision you'll need to make is if your going to row in the Regatta.

If you decide that you do want to row in the regatta, you need to send the novice coordinator an e-mail indicating your wishes.

Hopefully your entire eight will be unanimous in it's decision.  A boat that's trained all season together will be easier to compete in.

If you decide you want to row in the regatta be prepared… you will need to sign a waiver, register as a competitor and pay your registeration fee, volunteer to help and maybe even get a special shirt to wear so that your crew looks like a team.

Your cox will guide you through through all of this, but DMRC has most of it covered at these two websites!
